Sharing Iftaħ Qalbek’s Mission on Radio Malta’s Edukalink
I was invited to speak on Edukalink, a Radio Malta programme that offers professionals a platform to share their research and insights. I discussed Iftah Qalbek’s mission to promote mental health and family well-being, detailing our services such as individual, couple, and family therapy, as well as resources on communication, emotional resilience, and parenting. It was a valuable opportunity to engage with the community and advocate for accessible mental health support.

Our goal was to help participants foster connection rather than disconnection, creating lasting ties with those they care about most.

This seminar was created for couples who are newly married or about to tie the knot. We focused on the transitions couples experience as they move through different stages of the family life cycle. The seminar offered insights and practical tools to help couples work together to maintain a strong relationship, even when adapting to new challenges and changing circumstances.
Engaging with Global Experts at the 69th ICCFR Conference
I am excited to attend the 69th Annual Conference of the International Commission on Couple and Family Relations (ICCFR), held in Malta from 14 to 16 November 2024. This year’s theme, “Intergenerational Perspectives in Families – Challenges and Opportunities,” brings together experts to explore the impact of family dynamics across generations. With insightful presentations on topics like intergenerational trauma, climate change resilience, and relational ethics in parenting, this conference provides a unique opportunity to deepen my understanding of systemic family challenges and effective interventions.
